The atmosphere before the beginning of the match was amazing, a typical band was playing Frevo with the Giant Dolls from Olinda, the national anthem was sung by all Brazilian there.
It was very emotional, but after the referee whistle the atmosphere became nervous. Brazilian supporters only made noise during dangerous moment from our national team, but they weren't frequent.
It was easier to see and listen a little group of Mexican screaming and making noise in the middle of the Brazilian, and it was also what I saw at Castelão Arena, Brazilian were very quiet if compared with Mexican.
It seemed that Mexico was playing at home. For me, at least out of the grass Mexico won.
After the end of first half I left the Fan Fest, it was very crowded in the place I was, and went to a street with many pubs were other people were watching the game. There the atmosphere was also nervous and I was losing my hope in Brazilian victory more and more after each Ochoa's defense.
The only good thing for me there was that I've already found Costa Rica supporters who are going watch the game here on Friday, they were really confident in their national team and very happy with the previous game againt Uruguay.
The match is coming and I am in the countdown until Friday. I can't wait to see Italy vs Costa Rica.
