Renato Lima from Belo Horizonte: Games, childhood, celebration and... free vaccinations

I even found an American girl that loves football and used to play it at school. American girls are definitely more towards playing football than Brazilian girls. I actually got to know that football is by far the most played sport in the US among children. They just grow up and move to other sports when they are teenagers.

She told me that the Brazilian health system is great. Well there are many good things about it. But... great... ? Well no comments on that.

My childhood school

I went to have vaccination for Hepatitis B and Yellow Fever; For free by the way; Yes, there are good things in the Brazilian health system; Then I decided to visit the school I studied from 0 to 4th grades. I was very happy to see how well maintained it is. A few small improvements, but still looking great. My daughter is going to a public school so far and I think it is been great. Even compared to a Danish school. The problem I think it is when it comes to the references and family support as many children in the public schools miss a proper health environment at home.

Brazil vs. Colombia

For the game against Colombia for the quarterfinals, I was invited to watch it with my cousins and their friends.

Among them, there was Luiz, that lives in Australia and arrived just in time to enjoy a bit of the tournament.

Celebration

We headed to the Seu Bar after the game to celebrate that Brazil was moving forward in the World Cup. I had to by my ticket one day in advance through the Internet. It was crowded.

Ready for Germany (I hope so!)

My parent's house is ready for the next games!!!
